tramadol doesnt put a dent when I get oneI have been taking Propranolol for 5 yrs for prevention of migraines and it works wonders for me. I still get the onset symptoms of aura and my vision is affected but I rarely if ever get migraines any more, thank GOD! Propranolol is a beta blocker and also lowers blood pressure to my knowledge, but regardless of what it is, it works wonders for me!
A lot of things are used for migraines - tramadol is one of them. Beta blockers are used for migraines. These are mostly off label or fringe uses. The best medications for migraine right now are medicines like Imitrex, and Lamictal. There are many drugs like this on the market right now.
tramodol acts mainly like a pain killer. action is not long lasting. you get convulsion in seijuers, not in migrain. threre r many variants in migrain. try to relax. take Flunarajine10mg in night, Propranalol40mg in morning for 2mts
Tramadol is related to toradol, or in other words a drug in the ibuprofen class. I have found it to work on some, but not others, not a narcotic, and is a mild analgesic, but also an anti-inflammitory, not the drug of choice for migraines, but I'm not a MD. I have heard Migrex, and other prescription drugs seem to help others better, but again never had one so am not real sure. I would see a neurologist and take their advice before playing around in search of a cure...Good Luck, and God Bless.
I know a couple people on it and I have taken it. Yes it works wonders and the possibility of a seizure is so small I wouldn't even worry about it. Hack there is stuff in certain gum that can cause cancer but everyone chews it.
To be entirely honest, I'm not sure if Tramadol works for migraines. I lay the ~ation of this by looking for an answer. What I am sure of high rank, though, is that you've been given an misinformation. Tramadol is NOT related to Toradol. Toradol (Ketorolac) is an NSAID, like Ibuprofen. It's non-sedative. Tramadol, however, is NOT an NSAID. Tramadol IS opiate. It's some opioid. Apparently, it's got a far lower potential for dependence (corporeal, at least) but that doesn't be attracted by the fact it's still narcotic. So, just a long way off advocate clear again, Tramadol is NOT analogous ~ off Toradol and IS narcotic. Anyway. good luck with first sight an answer!
